Glasses Free 3D Kickstarter TV
Dimenco has launched a kickstarter campaign for its very reasonably priced 4K naked eye 3D TV. Dimenco has been developing and producing naked eye 3D displays for the digital signage and medical industry for years but is now taking the leap to become the company that bings this tech to the average Kickstarting 3D Lover!
Dimenco was founded in 2010 by four ex-Philips employees who worked together at a former Philips venture that focused on 3D technology. After this venture was discontinued, they decided to combine their specific knowledge and passion for 3D and start their own independent 3D company: Dimenco. They offer end-to-end 3D auto-stereoscopic solutions that include autostereoscopic 3D displays, components, software, content conversion and consultancy services for professional and consumer applications.
The CEO of Dimenco is Maarten Tobias who studied Strategic Management at the University of Tilburg. In 2006 he started his career at Philips Electronics and had different positions, under which Global Business Development and Sales manager at Philips 3D Solutions and Senior Strategist at Philips TV. Within Dimenco Maarten's role is in general management, sales and marketing and finances.
