Glasses free 3D photography and printing workshop launched

3D Focus joins forces with famous 3D photographer to deliver a world class workshop for photographers wanting to generate extra income from 3D

In partnership with 3D printing software specialists Triaxes and Jake Purches – a lenticular 3D image expert, 3D Focus has put together an intensive one day workshop designed for professional photographers.

The process of creating high quality lenticular 3D images can be a complicated one but a one day programme has been carefully designed to reduce the huge learning curve of creating stunning 3D posters that businesses, advertisers, brand agencies and individuals are willing to pay a premium for.

Conducted in the grounds of the state-of-the-art Ravensbourne in London, the structure of the day includes lens choices, framing shots, the printing process and how to market a lenticular 3D business. The afternoon is reserved for clients to produce a high quality portrait 3D image from scratch and there will be a full walkthrough guide to the Triaxes 3DMK software.

3D lenticular services can be highly lucrative and 3D Focus is offering 6 months free advertising on the UK’s premier 3D news website once the course is completed as well as unlimited support.

To be accepted, a photographer will need to bring their own digital SLR camera, have knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop and download a free demo copy of the Triaxes 3DMK software here (choose 3DMasterKit Photo A3+ or above). The workshop will be capped at ten people to allow for high quality training and video recorded so there are no need to take notes.

The skills and experience required to offer 3D lenticular prints for a premium price are closely guarded so persuading Jake Purches to reveal his knowledge was quite a challenge so the course will be very limited.

The one day workshop takes place on May 26th in London and costs £495 with a £100 discount if a client refers a friend.
