Frank DeFreitas has assembled and combined 16 images taken from the NASA Apollo mission archives and packed them into a MPO 3D image download set which is also compatible with the Fuji W1/W3 camera and Sony PS3 systems.
Each colour 3D photo is viewable as part of a sequence travelling from the Earth to the Moon which includes a powerful storm in space and the vast open vistas of the rocky lunar surface.

In the same download, Frank DeFreitas has included the award winning 3D Moon MPO file (NEW VERSION 2.0). This image was created by combining a left image taken over 150 years ago by Prof. Henry Draper, at his private astronomical observatory in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y. and a right image taken from Frank DeFreitas’s backyard during the full moon of March 19th 2011. Together, they show a 3D round moon sphere floating at the surface on the Nintendo 3DS screen.

The Voyage to the Moon 3D set is available for 99cents from the Holoworld website.
