WealthTV 3D content gets added to Yabazam portal

HD channel WealthTV has signed a deal with DDD’s Yabazam 3D distribution portal to offer its lifestyle and entertainment programming to subscribers

This is the first time DDD has offered 3D content from a television network which focusses on luxury lifestyle such as fine dining, expensive cars and exotic travel. WealthTV began producing stereoscopic television episodes over two years ago from its 40,000 square foot  facility.

The service will start with 11 half hour episodes and will be available wherever www.yabazam.com is available and on the Apps for LG and Samsung Smart TVs. The episodes will be available for $2.99 each.

Earlier this week, DDD announced the launch of the Yabazam portal for Samsung connected 3D TVs. The Yabazam 3D movie app for Samsung Smart TVs offers free 3D movie trailers and the ability to purchase full length 3D movies on a PPV bass will be introduced later this year.

The Yabazam 3D app is currently averaging over 1,000 downloads per day across Samsung and LG TV sets.  Consumers in the US, UK, Germany, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan can find the Yabazam 3D app in their Smart TV’s app store.
