ViewPoint-3D presentation software FREE till end of year
ViewPoint-3D launches a new media player for their 3D presentation software which is being offered for free till the end of 2012 as a special introductory offer.
It can operate on low cost graphics processors and, from what 3D Focus saw at BVE, is a simple affair with drag and drop interfaces and a range of templates and objects which will be expanded to life-like atmospheric and ocean simulations and true life-like facial animations with lip-syncing for creating movies.
Data, text, images and video within the 3D scene content can be updated without the need for re-editing, and ViewPoint-3D is currently driving the LuxTV channel for shop window advertising.
ViewPoint-3D Ltd also showed 3D Focus its compatibility with 3D displays, including Dimenco autostereoscopic panels.
A new media player has also been released, the ePC 3D Media Box (pictured below), which can drive up to 8 screens of 4K resolution with ViewPoint-3D presentations including glasses free 3D and interactive Kiosk applications.
Technical Director Rob Colclough told 3D Focus “It's a very ambitious project and the idea is to produce more than a replacement for PowerPoint that uses the latest 3D-graphics technology (APUs and Object Orientated software), but to create a completely new way of making content and presentations in a much more natural and human manner. We are in the process of inviting investors to take the company to the next level."
