Amsterdam Central Station gets glasses free 3D advertising

Digital agency Balfour Group and Dimenco have installed multiple 55” glasses free 3D panels at Amsterdam Central Station (the Metro Lobby) as well as displays at Cinema Pathe, Amersfoort.

Further projects are scheduled for London, Mexico City and Istanbul. Star Wars Lego and City Box are confirmed advertisers and various reports indicate glasses free 3D promotions increase sales, dwell time and ‘stopping power.’

Dimenco panels offer 28 viewpoints for multiple viewers and recently announced a 4K model. The glasses free 3D market is becoming increasingly competitive meaning the technology could be with us sooner than expected.
