Triaxes Opens Vietnamese Office with Live 3D Ceremony
Tomsk based glasses free 3D specialists Triaxes Vision will officially open its South East office in Vietnam tomorrow (October 18th).
Founded in 2004, the company started offering glasses free 3D print solutions but more recently has expanded into real time stereoscopic to auto-stereoscopic 3D conversion. In fact, during IBC in Amsterdam, Triaxes Vision CEO & Founder Alexey Polyakov a demo of a glasses free 3D display which was converting a feed from a two lens 3D camera.
The Triaxes Vision Vietnamese office will support existing clients and partners plus establish prospective business relations with foreign high-tech companies.
Representatives of Elecard (Triaxes Vision is an Elecard company) as well as many other Tomsk based companies will pay a visit to Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh for the opening ceremony will be held on October 18.
The ceremony will be captured by a regular 3D camera and processed by the Triaxes NetJet server for capture and encoding. This will transmit two streams in a format known as AVC TS. One feed will be delivered in the 2D+Depth format (an efficient way of sending data for glasses free 3D displays). This will be received by the Triaxes 3D Media Player and shown on a glasses free 3D display in the Triaxes Vietnam office.
The other signal will be broadcast over IP allowing anybody with a pair of red/cyan glasses to watch it online.
Users will need to download the Elecard MPEG Player from the Elecard website (evaluation version). Instructions as to how to view the opening ceremony can be .
A test connection will start at 6 – 7 am UK time followed by the opening ceremony.
