LG to launch three new 3D computers
LG are releasing a flurry of 3D products this year and now we can reveal, three new 3D computers will be added to the portfolio.
During this month’s CES, LG will showcase two new 3D notebooks – the P535 and A540 plus an all-in-one computer with a 3D display.
The P535 is a 15.6 inch Cinema 3D notebook. Featuring a LED backlight display, the P535 is up to 24% slimmer than the closet competing 15” 3D notebooks.
The A540 notepad is considerably more feature packed and is clearly positioned as the ultimate 3D notebook. Including a quad-core processor, it offers a 15.6 inch glasses free 3D display (optional), an installed 3D editing programme suitable for games and videos and 4.1 channel 3D sound. It also includes a 3D dual webcam for 3D video conferencing applications. Software includes LG 3D Space (3D Application Launcher) , ArcSoft Showbiz 5 3D and the DDD TriDef 3D Application (for conversion)
Finally, LG’s first all-in-one PC, the LG V300, uses a 23 inch Full HD FPR screen to display 3D content. The screen is also an IPS display which significantly widens the viewing angle to 178 degrees. Unlike all-in-one PCs with a dual camera touch sensor, the V300 is equipped with a triple camera system for improved multi-touch experience.
J.J. Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics IT Business Unit. “Our new products feature a range of breakthrough technologies from LG, such as IPS display, glasses-free 3D and Super Speed Boot, that will noticeably elevate the personal computing experience. These technologies reflect our goal of satisfying various consumer demands, as well as our aggressive strategy for 2012.”
The new 3D notebook models will be available worldwide during the first quarter of 2012 and there will be 2D versions of each system available.
