China’s largest private film distributor making 3D films
Film distribution and production company Bona Film Group, plans to produce two or three 3D features this year out of a new centre based in Tianjin, 110KM southwest of Beijing.
The company’s first 3D ventures will be 'Tracks In The Snowy Forest' directed by Tsui and based on a novel by Qu Bo, and 'The White-Hair Witch' which will also be produced by Tsui. Tsui’s 3D 'Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate' earned $71 million in China last year.
Bona, which owns and operates six movie theaters, will also distribute 'The Three Musketeers' in China from May 15th.
