HIGH TV 3D Expands Coverage Footprint
3D lifestyle channel HIGH TV 3D has signed a high capacity deal with satellite company SES.
The channel, which features 3D programming from a diverse range of genres such as travel, drama, cookery and fitness, joins other 3D channels Brava 3D, Penthouse 3D and the ASTRA 3D demo channel on ASTRA 23.5 degrees East.
Launched in April this year, HIGH TV 3D will broadcast 400 hours of native 3D content during its first year and is creating more than 500 hours of 3D content for each year to come.

Despite launching only seven months ago, HIGH TV 3D have already struck several lucrative carriage deals. At launch, the company signed a 4 million Euro with Korea Telecom along with its sister channel FASHION ONE. In October, HIGH TV 3D launched in Norway on the CANAL DIGITAL platform and before that, HIGH TV 3D launched on cable television operator UPC in Romania.
