Americans Disillusioned By 3D
Although it seems most manufacturers are relying on 3D being a huge success, according to Neilson they better be worried because consumers are not sharing the same enthusiasm. What is worse, the interest reduces even further once potential buyers have tried 3DTV.
According to an American study carried out by Nielson, 89% said they became disillusioned by 3D TV because it demands one's full attention. It is impossible to surf the web, do the cleaner or preparing the dinner while a 3D programme is on which is a problem in today's multi-tasking world. It is fine in the cinema when that is the main purpose of being there but it is a different story at home.
