3D Systems have revealed a series of high end 3D printers that can produce models in virtually any colour combination
The company, who owns the Cubify and zPrinter brands, used the Inside 3D Printing Expo in New York this week to showcase the ProJet x60 range which uses a premium composite called VisiJet PXL to build up objects layer by layer.
The top of the range model is the ProJet 860Pro which features a large build area of 20 x 15 x 9 inches with the entry monochrome ProJet® 160 Personal 3D Printer offering a space of 9.3 x 7.3 x 5 inches.
Materials and colour choices have long been restrictions in 3D printing but colour choice appears to longer be an issuegetting resolved. The next goal is to make full colour 3D printers more affordable.
