Augmented reality development company Metaio will use this year’s InsideAR conference to explore what the next year will bring
Augmented reality is enjoying fast growth right now. Although not strictly AR, Google Glass is often included in the same discussions and has served to reignite people’s imaginations as to what benefits AR will bring to the future.
Metaio has grown massively since its formation in 2003. The German company was created from an initial project with Volkswagen and later received a grant with which the founders bootstrapped their enterprise.
The company are bringing back the InsideAR conference in October 10th to 11th.

Juniper Research forecasts augmented reality will bring in $1.5 billion of revenue by 2015 and according to a new market research report by MarketsandMarkets VR and AR is expected to be worth $1.06 billion in 2018.
