The digital system boasts a screen of 18.53 metres wide by 7.89 metres high which is combined with Dolby 7:1 'Profound' sound. It is part of Vue's strategy to offer customers a movie experience that they could not get at home. Xtreme screens have already been installed in other Vue venues such as Vue Westfield and will be nationally rolled out throughout the year.

The auditoriums are installed with new luxury ‘SuperVue’ stepped seating.

The 3D re-release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace will be the first film to be given the 'Xtreme' screen treatment from 9th February. According to a 3D Focus poll, the film should do well at the box office with 64% of 675 respondants saying they would watch it.
